- Thinly slice the onion either with a mandoline or a very sharp knife.
- Set the onion slices aside and roughly chop the parsley.
- Now sprinkle the salt, chopped parsley and sumac over the onions and mix well either with your hands or tongs.
- The salad is ready! Store in the fridge and you can enjoy this salad for up to a week after preparation.
