Turkish-style Onion & Sumac Salad Recipe

A crunchy and refreshing salad or side dish that pairs well with a kebab or wrap

- 1 large red onion
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
- pinch salt *to taste
- 1½ tsp sumac
Thinly slice the onion either with a mandoline or a very sharp knife.
Set the onion slices aside and roughly chop the parsley.
Now sprinkle the salt, chopped parsley and sumac over the onions and mix well either with your hands or tongs.
The salad is ready! Store in the fridge and you can enjoy this salad for up to a week after preparation.
