Turkish-style Onion & Sumac Salad Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large red onion
  • 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
  • pinch salt *to taste
  • tsp sumac

Instructions
 

  • Thinly slice the onion either with a mandoline or a very sharp knife.
  • Set the onion slices aside and roughly chop the parsley.
  • Now sprinkle the salt, chopped parsley and sumac over the onions and mix well either with your hands or tongs.
  • The salad is ready! Store in the fridge and you can enjoy this salad for up to a week after preparation.
