This simple rolling board and pin set is perfect for your roti and flatbread needs! It’s also great if you want to roll out some puff pastry for a tasty chicken pot pie. I ordered this set as I love to make homemade rotis and parathas. However, you don’t have to limit yourself to just Indian food. I adore the versatility of this rolling set but the only improvement I would love is for better friction against a countertop. I usually lay a tea towel on the counter before placing the board on top of it so it doesn’t move around.
6. Stainless Steel Kitchen Tongs (KitchenAid)
These kitchen tongs have earned a well-deserved spot on my 10 kitchen must-haves you need to buy. I initially bought a pair of silicone tongs but unlike the pastry brushes, those were more difficult to clean. Eventually, the silicone covers over the tongs fell off and wouldn’t stick back on. So, I decided to buy the stainless steel ones instead and so far, they work a lot better!

Finding a non-stick pan that lives up to its name is more difficult than you’d think. I found this 11 inch non-stick frying pan a few months ago and after reading the rave reviews, I placed an order. From frying eggs over easy and flipping omelettes to searing salmon and steaks, this pan is durable and easy to clean. It allows for a seamless transfer from pan to plate and really does live up to its non-stick name!

I bought this small food chopper a few years ago and it is one of my most efficient purchases. With a 500ml capacity, this appliance is simple to use and is quite powerful. I have used it to blend my oats for porridge, make salsa verde, and finely chop onions. It’s multi-purpose and doesn’t take up a lot of space on a countertop. My one area of improvement is that it should come with more speed settings instead of just the one button, but it’s ideal if you are just cooking for one or two people.
